A news conference took place on Sept 24 in Jinan – capital city of East China's Shandong province – to unveil a special commemorative stamp and other related creative products to be issued in honor of the upcoming 120th anniversary of Shandong University, or SDU.

China Post – the official postal service in China, which is issuing it – will hold the launch ceremony for the 120th anniversary stamp at the central campus of SDU in Jinan on Oct 15.  
The edition, with a nominal value of 1.2 yuan ($0.19), depicts SDU's logos and landmark buildings.
In addition, China Post is also issuing more than 40 kinds of cultural and creative products, such as souvenirs, stamp albums and postcards, all themed on the 120th anniversary.
