The School of Chinese Virtue Education at Shandong University or SDU and the Shandong Confucianism Development Promotion Association held an event that promoted Chinese traditional culture in the Wujia community, in the Guanzhuang sub-district of Zhangqiu district in Jinan , capital of East China’s Shandong province on June 12.

That’s according to a report by Chinanews on June 14, which said that more than 60 experts, academics, teachers, volunteers and students attended the event in Jinan.

The school signed a cooperation agreement with the association to carry out traditional cultural lectures in Wujia community.

Based on its Confucianism talks, Wujian community has upgraded its cultural facilities and held a series of traditional culture lectures and activities.

Prior to that, Zhangqiu district's Confucianism talks covered more than 900 villages and communities in the region, using various forms of lectures, storytelling and music, among other things. In 2020, 1,016 activities have held.

In order to promote the Zhangqiu program, the School of Chinese Virtue Education at Shandong University and the Shandong Confucianism Development Promotion Association will organize Confucian teaching teams and volunteers.

They will conduct a series of lectures on community Confucianism, Chinese virtue and family traditions.
