Shandong University held a race at the Xinglongshan campus in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, on June 5.

The running race was a treat for graduates, but also celebrated the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

The top eight participants in each of the men's and women's divisions received prizes, while the other competitors received commemorative medals.

The four-kilometer-race, which started and ended at the rostrum, passed by many campus attractions, including the library.
